Well we’ve done a whole week of these and we are keeping going. I for one am enjoying the more regular contact, albeit in a slightly different way.
Thank you for all that you are doing for each other, our church has never been a one-man band, and I appreciate those who have been contacting me.
Roy & Rita, who are one of the few in our church family who are not receiving these because they don’t have the internet send their love to you all.
My suggested reading today is Psalm 13, which if you remember was a Psalm of Lament but with a Ray of Hope, which we looked at in one of the Sundays in January. I was reminded of it by Nick Jackson, the youtube video blogger who Lynn had recommended, who spoke from it yesterday in his morning podcast.
If you read it, you’ll see the common question is “How long?”, and to which we don’t know the answer in this current crisis and pandemic. But we still look to the Lord and ‘trust in your unfailing love… I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me’, as it says at the end of this Psalm.
Do remember families at this time of enforced home-schooling with all the pressures that can generate.
And from our church address list please pray for,
– Sharon, George and the rest of the family
