Daily email from the Vicar Number 5

Well, after last night’s announcement it has all changed again.
One of the consequences has been the definite closure of church buildings, and also locally ReStore/Central Vineyard have reluctantly decided to close all the Foodbanks in their network including ours up at H4Y, for the time being anyway until they have had further clarification from the local councils.
Do try and get some exercise/fresh air whilst you can/are allowed but stay safe when you do it.  I went for a long walk this morning with Benji up to Harlestone Firs (like last year’s Easter walk but the other way round) and it was great, hardly saw anyone.  You don’t have to be a long-distance show-off like me though, just a walk round the garden would be good!!  It is good to pray outside too.
Our reading today is Psalm 121 – ‘I lift my eyes to the hills – where do my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth…’, but do read the whole Psalm.
Please pray today for those who are alone or who frightened by the situation they find themselves in, that they would know the Lord’s supernatural peace at this time.
From our address list please pray for,
– Roy & Rita     )
– Robert & Jan ) and their families
Jan sent me something earlier today which has been posted on Facebook.
